My Chemical Romance are continuing the 20th anniversary celebrations for their landmark third album The Black Parade, announcing a stacked expanded reissue featuring six bonus tracks – including the previously unreleased fan favourite, Someone Out There Loves You.
As reported by Consequence, The Black Parade (20th Anniversary) is set to arrive on Friday, 23rd October via Reprise Records, pairing the original 2006 album with a collection of B-sides and rare live recordings.

Three of the bonus tracks were captured during MCR’s intimate show at the 200-capacity Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey on 24th October, 2007.
To preview the reissue, the emo titans have released their Maxwell’s performance of The Sharpest Lives to streaming services for the first time. The recording was previously available on the DVD accompanying their 2008 live collection The Black Parade Is Dead!
The remaining three bonus tracks are fan-favourite B-sides, including Someone Out There Loves You, which will receive its first official release as part of the anniversary collection.
“Twenty years ago, we wrote what would become The Black Parade, our third record and the follow-up to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge,” MCR reflected in a statement.
“At the time, we could never have imagined what the record would mean for the band. All we knew is that we had made something crazy, and something we couldn’t wait to get it out into the world.”
The band added that the new collection marks the first time everything they completed during The Black Parade sessions has been brought together in one place.
“For the first time, we have included everything we finished during those sessions in a single collection,” they explained.
MCR have also reunited with artist James Jean, whose work helped define the original album era, commissioning three new pieces featuring iconic characters from the world of The Black Parade.
“James is truly a one-of-a-kind artist, and so important to how this record was presented to the world,” the band said. “We are extremely grateful for meeting him all those years ago, and agreeing now to make something new.”
The anniversary edition will be available across CD, cassette and multiple vinyl formats, including Bloodline Red, Baby Pink and Concrete Grey variants, alongside a laser-etched hologram pressing and limited One Step vinyl package created using the original analogue master recording.
My Chemical Romance are currently wrapping up their 2026 Black Parade world tour, which will conclude with five shows at the Hollywood Bowl, alongside festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock and a run of Southeast Asian dates to close out the year.
Sadly for Australian members of the MCRmy, The Black Parade anniversary celebrations have yet to make their way down under. The band last toured Australia in 2023, and no Aussie dates for their current anniversary run have been announced.
