Nick Cave Adds New Shows To Sold-Out 2024 Australian Solo Tour

After selling out a stack of previously announced dates across Sydney and Melbourne, Aussie icon Nick Cave has added a bunch more shows to his forthcoming 2024 solo tour.

On top of five sold-out theatre dates in Sydney and two in Melbourne, the alternative rock troubadour has just added a fresh date each in both cities, while expanding the tour with brand new stops in Wollongong, Canberra, the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Fans can get their hands on tickets to the freshly announced dates when they go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday, 30th January) at 10am AEDT.

Nick Cave – ‘Cosmic Dancer’

Cave will be accompanied by Radiohead bass player Colin Greenwood throughout this new run, performing songs from across his 45-year career. The pair are now seasoned live collaborators, after conducting a similar tour of North America last September and October.

“I cannot wait to bring this special show to Australia next year, accompanied by the great Colin Greenwood,” Cave said in a statement. “It is a privilege to share the songs with an audience in this way – stripped back and unadorned, revealing their essential nature.”

The setlists for the North American tour included songs from a variety of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds albums, including Skeleton Tree (2016), Push the Sky Away (2013), Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! (2008), Ghosteen (2019), Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus (2004), Henry’s Dream (1992), The Boatman’s Call (1997) and Tender Prey (1988), as well as Cave and Warren Ellis’ 2021 LP Carnage.
