Philadelphia-based musician Nina Ryser, a longtime fixture in the DIY music scene, is set to release her new solo album, “Water Giants.” Ryser, known for her work as one-third of the band Palberta and her drumming in the band @, continues to showcase her diverse musical talents.
Ryser recorded “Water Giants” at home with producer Lucas Knapp, bringing a personal touch to the album. The first single from the album, “Things I Claim,” is an experimental pop song with an off-kilter sound that might remind listeners of a more discordant version of the Blow. The track stands out with its unique blend of pop and experimental elements, showcasing Ryser’s creative range.
Ryser’s previous release, the EP “I Miss My Dog,” came out last year, and fans have eagerly awaited new music from the talented artist. “Water Giants” promises to deliver a fresh and innovative sound that continues to push the boundaries of pop and experimental music.
