Nirvana & Friends Play Secret Show In Tiny Brooklyn Club

Following their performances with Lorde, Joan Jett, St Vincent, and former Sonic Youth bassist Kim Gordon during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame‘s 2014 induction ceremony yesterday, founding Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic performed a secret show at Saint Vitus, a tiny metal club in Greenpoint, Brooklyn which has a capacity of roughly 250 people.

According to Brooklyn Vegan, the show kicked off around 2am and finished up at 4am. Grohl and Novoselic were joined on stage by Rock Hall performers Joan Jett, St. Vincent and Kim Gordon, but not Lorde. J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr and John McCauley of Deer Tick also made appearances.

Noisey are reporting that the show featured a 16-song set, and featured classic Nirvana tracks Breed, Negative Creep, Lithium, Drain You and Penny Royal Tea. Check out the full setlist below.

Footage has also emerged of some of the songs performed during the secret show, which Music Feeds readers can check out below. St. Vincent (Annie Clark) can be seen jamming along with Nirvana to Heart-Shaped Box, Joan Jett rocking to Smells Like Teen Spirit, and J. Mascis shredding on School.
