Obie Trice Announces Australian Tour, June 2013

Detroit rapper Obie Trice has announced he will be returning to Australia for the first time since touring as a part of Heatwave 2012. Set to release his fourth studio album The Hangover in June, Australian audiences will be the first fans to experience much of Trice’s new material.

The Australian Hangover Tour also represents Trice’s first run of headlining dates Down Under. When last here for Heatwave, Trice told the festival’s promoters he had the “time of his life” and was eager to return to our fair shores.

Formally a protégé of Eminem and signed to Eminem’s label Shady Records in 2000, Trice has now set out to blaze his own trail. In 2010 Trice began his own label Black Market Entertainment and looks to further distinguish his own style on The Hangover.
