Over 70 Acts Added To UK’s Reading And Leeds Festivals

A pile of over 70 acts has been added to the UK’s Reading and Leeds Festival lineups, including three Aussie groups, who have now locked in their August festival slots.

Reading and Leeds organisers have added London rockers The Libertines to the top of the bill, joining metal heroes Metallica, and Mumford & Sons as headliners. The Libertines made their main stage debut in 2003, and famously reunited to play the festivals back in 2010.

On the Aussie side of things, electronic duo Knife Party, indie group Little May and Sydney three-piece DMA’s are amongst the first home-grown additions to the Reading and Leeds lineups.

Other new additions to the already impressive lineup include All Time Low, Bring Me the Horizon, Kendrick Lamar, The Maccabees, Tyler, The Creator, Everything Everything, Jamie XX, Hudson Mohawke, New Found Glory, Mastadon, Django Django, The Wombats, Frank Turner, A$AP Ferg and Azealia Banks.
