Parklife 2012 organisers have revealed the dates for this year’s events, coming up this September and October. It’ll kick off in Brisbane on the 29th before heading to Sydney on the 30th, Perth on the 1st, Melbourne on the 6th and Adelaide on the 7th.

Another big announcement for this year’s festival is the change of venue for the Sydney event, moving from Kippax Lake to its original location deep inside Centennial Park. The new location encompasses Loch Ave South and Brazilian Fields and has beautiful rolling slopes dotted with Moreton Bay figs and a variety of other trees.
Festival Director John Wall has spoken about his excitement in moving back: “Parklife started its life deep inside Centennial Park, and while Kippax lake has been a great venue for the last 8 years, we’ve been itching to move back inside the Park for a while, so we’re very excited, not only to be there but right next to the original Parklife 2000 venue.”
