Periphery Stream New Experimental Recording ‘Clear’

Maryland progressive metal outfit Periphery have unveiled a new experimental recording titled Clear. Currently streaming online, the six-song collection is slated for release on Tuesday, 28th January through Sumerian Records and is made up of contributions from each of the band’s members.

The recording was intended as an exploration of each member’s style of writing, with five of the six tracks created by an individual member, in addition to an inclusive opening track, Overture, which links all six of the styles explored on the record, creating an unique and eclectic listening experience.

The band are currently working on their third full-length album and will soon be in the country, when they kick off a tour with Washingtonian experimental outfit Animals As Leaders later this month at The Hi-Fi in Brisbane, followed by shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Check below for details.
