Peter Hook To Perform New Order Albums On 2015 Australian Tour

Joy Division and New Order bassist and co-founder Peter Hook has announced a 2015 Australian tour with his band The Light, performing two New Order albums, Low-Life (1985) and Brotherhood (1986), in their entirety, as well as B-sides and other tracks from the period.

Next year’s tour will be the first time Peter Hook & The Light have performed the two records in full before Australian and New Zealand audiences. Expect to hear classics like Brotherhood‘s Bizarre Love Triangle and Low-Life‘s The Perfect Kiss, as well as a selection of New Order singles and B-sides, including tracks like Temptation and Thieves Like Us.

Hooky And The Light will also be their own supporting act throughout the tour, using the opening slot to cover classic tunes from Hook’s original new wave band, Joy Division.

The tour kicks off at the Astor Theatre in Perth on Saturday, 14th February, moving through Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart before Hooky & The Light head over to New Zealand. Tickets go on sale from 9am Thursday, 30th October. Full tour details, including NZ dates, below.
