Placebo Reveal Details On New Album, Australian Tour Announcement Coming Soon

For their 7th studio release, the legendary Placebo have planned something fairly extensive for fans. Not only will Loud Like Love be a full, 10-track release, but it will also be available in a variety of formats. It doesn’t stop there – in support of the release, Placebo will be heading out on a world tour, with Australian dates expected soon.

In a recent post, the band give away just about all the information needed to get fans excited about the release. Suggesting an international release date of Monday, 16th September, they also display the album art for our visual pleasure and reveal the different options available for fans to purchase. You have the option of nabbing a 3D lenticular super deluxe box set, limited-edition deluxe digi-pack version, double 12″ coloured vinyl gatefold edition or your standard CD.

The band worked with Adam Noble for the album, which began taking form in 2012 in London’s RAK Studios. Loud Like Love will be be the first full-length from the band since 2009’s Battle for the Sun.

Along with news of the album, the band have dropped a run of UK tour dates as the ‘1st phase’ of international tour dates. Australian fans are sure to get the good news soon, with the post confirming we will be on the list.
