Playboi Carti Cancels 2018 Australian Tour At Last Minute

Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti (Jordan Terrell Carter) has cancelled his 2018 Australian tour on the day it was meant to begin, after first postponing the tour back in March.

The tour, which was scheduled to kick off in Perth tonight (before hitting Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne), has been cancelled “due to personal reasons”, promoters Illusive Presents and Frontier Touring say.

“We sincerely apologise to those affected by this cancellation,” a statement reads.

“All ticket-holders will automatically be refunded by the relevant show’s authorised ticketing agency, no further action is required. Please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to be processed.”

Playboi Carti is yet to publicly comment on the tour’s last-minute cancellation.

In March, the ‘Magnolia’ rapper postponed the tour, which was initially scheduled to take place in that month.
