Deadmau5 has proven that even if you’re a Playboy model, you’re still not immune to his wrath, after Tricia Evans tweeted a poor taste joke that was even more poorly timed (below).
The comments of course refer to the massacre last Friday, which took place in Colorado. 12 people have so far died and the death toll could rise. Yes, Tricia Evans, way too soon. The model, of no real repute until her tweet managed to enrage an entire country, was quick to issue an apology after the tweet posted July 21. Since then, she has copped countless death threats and abusive messages, including an attack from moral vigilante DeadMau5.
The producer was quick to put Evans in her place. His previous tweet can’t be found, but according to NME, it was to the tune of “good to know. @hollywoodtricia i seriously had no idea how big of a piece of shit you are. unfollowed.” The battle continued through more tweets that Deadmau5 must have taken down (one surviving tweet below), including “Listen, apparently I have a different opinion than u. That doesn’t make me a piece of shit,” she tweeted to Deadmau5 two minutes later.
Deadmau5 had his target locked, however, and refused to submit: “so your opinion of the tragedy in Colorado is “humor”. not sure how that’s convoluted into an opinion.”
Ska legends Reel Big Fish have also stood up for the victims of the tragedy, donating all the proceeds from a recent performance in Denver to those affected.
