Police Called To Shut Down Metal House Party, Tell Band To Keep Playing Instead

Usually when the police get called to a house party it means that the fun has been ruined. A grumpy neighbour wasn’t feeling the music so they called the authorities and decided it would be nicer to see blue and red lights through their window than hear music.

But when police turned up to a metal party in the US they were on the side of the music-makers.

As reported by Alt Press, the cops were called to a house party where metal bands Light Up The Sky, Darkness Divided and Like Vultures were playing live. But rather than ruining the fun when they got there, the happy coppers decided the party should go on.

Instead of telling the bands to shut it down, because metal parties are insanely loud at the best of times, the officers told them to just keep going. The down-side was that they had to turn it down a touch but the punters still let out a loud cheer for the awesome police officer.

Brian Van Buskirk, the guitarist for Light Up The Sky, posted the video to his Facebook saying, “When cops show up to the mini-house show and tell you to keep playing hahaha.”
