Melburnian electro sweethearts Cut Copy have been winning new fans and impressing old ones with their latest full-length effort, Free Your Mind, and we’ve got the exclusive first listen of the Turkish Prison mix of the band’s latest single, the groovy We Are Explorers.
Turkish Prison are one third of Cut Copy’s fellow North Melburnian synth-abusers Midnight Juggernauts, with the mix taking the previously light and uplifting album highlight to gloriously darker corners of the electro universe in just under seven minutes of slow-building goodness.
It’s available as part of the We Are Explorers single release, which also comes with remixes by Greek EDM producer Larry Gus. Cut Copy will be appearing at Future Music Festival, which kicks off next weekend in Brisbane, and Golden Plains Festival, taking place 8-10th March in Meredith.
