Your favourite Canberra riff monsters Hands Like Houses have performed a Like A Version on themselves, unveiling a stylish live reimagining of their Samsaruh-featuring single, ‘Through Glass’.
Recorded with Matt Barnes and premiering via Music Feeds below, the live rework of the tune, which originally appeared on their blockbuster 2018 album Anon, sees HLH strip things back add a tasty horn section to the mix.
“We’ve always enjoyed the challenge of reimagining our songs and we were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to give this song a new life with the addition of some very talented musicians,” explains bassist Joel Tyrrell. “The timing seemed perfect leading into our first Australian Regional headline tour.”
The aforementioned tour will see the lads team up with Brisbane rockers Young Lions to perform an eye-watering 20 dates across the nation.
“A huge part of wanting to do this regional tour was getting back to the intimate shows we started the band on,” Tyrrell continues.
“We love Australia and want to feel as connected as possible to the country as whole, it just all made sense to hit the road and touch down in as many parts of Australia as we could!”
The ‘Through Glass’ rework was filmed live at Sydney’s Studios 301 by Sam Koster of Young Monks.
