PREMIERE: Tropical Zombie Hoof-It Hardcore In ‘Call The Police’ Music Video

Sydney’s Tropical Zombie are entering 2016 swinging, with a brand new single Call The Police, which Music Feeds is all a’froth to be able to premiere the music video for, right here.

Already veterans of such festivals as Mountain Sounds, Lost Paradise, Splendour In The Grass and Festival of the Sun the scuzzed out six-piece continue to bring the mayhem into 2016, with an east coast tour to support the new single kicking off next month.

Call The Police is another non-stop carefree party tune and the music video is no exception, albeit not exactly the kind of party you may be expecting. “A hoofless zebra and a naked Indian visited me in a dream and told me what I must do”, guitarist Matt Swords tells us about the surreal zoo-fuckery that takes place.

Alain from the band further clarifies:

“The clip was filmed in Long Jetty around the corner from where we recorded the track. It was filmed by good friends and gunning videographers Matt Shadbolt and Tom Hackett. They also were very involved with directing and final production. The whole idea and story line was from our guitarist Matt Swords who has a funny mind. Him and friend Matt sat down and thought of weird shit like usual so they came up with this haha. The Zebra was acted by our Bass Player Benjamin Wright, the Giraffe was our good mate Goofball and the Hippo was singer and lead plonker Rob Swords.”
