Well, this is very adorable. Canadian punks PUP stopped by the CBC Kids studio to perform a Christmas-tinged and more child-appropriate version of their track ‘Kids’ from this year’s very, very good album Morbid Stuff.
Wearing some delightfully hideous holiday sweaters and flanked by dancing puppets, the band changed the lyrics to suit the season – and the age of their audience.
“Just like the kids, I’ve been navigating my way through the winter reality of this Christmas season,” sings frontman Stefan Babcock in the new iteration.
“Which, at this point in my bright and merry life, has jingled the jingle bells that I’ve got left,” he continues.
“And I’ve embraced the festivities with friends and family and holiday cheer.”
If you can’t tell already, it’s extremely cute, and you should watch the whole thing below.
