Queen Will Perform With Adam Lambert At The 2019 Oscars

Despite all the controversy surrounding the highly successful biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen will be taking the stage at the Academy Awards and be joined once again by Adam Lambert.

Lambert has been performing vocals for Queen for a while now, having first done so in 2009 when he was a contestant on American Idol. Queen and Lambert toured Australia together just last year.

Bohemian Rhapsody has been rife with controversy, following the multitude of sexual assault and abuse allegations against director Bryan Singer.

It’ll be quite the musical evening at the Oscars. Kendrick Lamar and SZA will be performing their Oscar-nominated song ‘All The Stars’, taken from the Grammy-nominated Black Panther soundtrack. On top of that, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper – who are also nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor respectively for their performances in A Star Is Born – will be performing their Grammy-winning hit ‘Shallow.

The Oscars air on Channel 9, midday AEDT.
