Queens Of The Stone Age Are Playing A Free DJ Set In Sydney On Friday

Three members of Queens Of The Stone Age are set to perform a free DJ set in Sydney on Friday night, after their sold-out show at the Hordern Pavilion.

QOTSA members Troy Van Leeuwen, Dean Fertita and Michael Shuman will be spinning tunes for Wayward’s at Newtown’s The Bank Hotel from 11pm on Friday, 31st August, with support from All My Friends DJs.

Sadly, it appears frontman Josh Homme and drummer Jon Theodore won’t be taking part.

Organisers are still expecting things to get “extremely busy”, so they’re advising hardcore fans to get down early to avoid missing out. Catch all the details in the Facebook event link, below.

The show will take place after the first of two Sydney headline shows QOTSA are playing as part of their current Australian tour behind latest album Villains.

The tour has already made its way through Brisbane, but is still scheduled to hit Newcastle, Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
