Rise Against Debut New Single ‘I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore’

Just a week after announcing their seventh studio album, Chicago punk-rockers Rise Against have dropped the record’s first single, I Don’t Want to Be Here Anymore. The track will appear on The Black Market which is due to drop on July 15th.

The Black Market follows on from 2011′s studio album Endgame, with the band releasing their collection of B-sides and covers in between. Rise Against made the album announcement via a teaser video posted to their Facebook page.

In the clip, frontman Tim McIlrath says of The Black Market, “When you’ve got all of your hard work just kind of come to some sort of fruition and you cross the finish line and you have the finished product, which is like our seventh record, you know – so we’ve been doing this a while now, and it’s a good feeling. It’s been a good break, and now we’re ready to get back in the saddle.”
