The regional road-trip of Aussie rock n’ roll that is Up The Guts is coming back for a second lap in 2017.
This year’s lineup will see an even bigger bus-load of acts fuel up the van for a trek out bush, including Melbourne rock trios Dumb Punts and Loose Tooth, indie kids Neighbourhood Youth and returning all-stars Jack Parsons of The Pretty Littles, Jo Syme of Big Scary and Joe Alexander of Scott and Charlene’s Wedding.
They’ll be visiting fans in live music-starved pockets of the country, starting off in the least-music starved part i.e. Melbourne before hauling arse to Ballarat, Bendigo and Warrnambool, SA’s Mt Gambier, Adelaide, Jamestown, Whyalla, Quorn and Coober Pedy before NT’s Santa Teresa, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Barunga, Ngukurr, Katherine and Grove Hill and wrapping it all up in Darwin (sorry Tassie, you’re not on the road map this year).
It’s all set to run from August 10th to September 3rd.
