The Saints Announce Exclusive Melbourne 2016 Shows

In massive news for Aussie rock fans, Brisbane punk-rock veterans The Saints have revealed that they’ll be getting back on the road later in 2016.

The Saints are generally considered to have been one of the pioneering bands in the world of punk rock, and were not only one of the first punk bands in Australia but were influential around the world. They recorded their first single (I’m) Stranded in 1976, and in 2007 the song was added to the National Film and Sound Archive’s Sounds of Australia Registry, confirming the band’s legend status.

The band will be making their to Melbourne to play a triple treat of shows this October at the Gasometer Hotel. This exclusive run of shows will see Chris Bailey return to Australia to play with the band’s alumni drummer Iain Shedden, joined by Pat Bourke on bass and Davey Lane on guitar.

General tickets go on sale Monday, 29th August at 10am local time, but Frontier Touring members can access a pre-sale from Thursday, 25th August here.
