Sarah Blasko Announces ‘I Awake’ National Tour, February 2013

Hailed as the masterpiece of her career (so far) the enchanting and delightful Sarah Blasko has announced that she will be taking her latest album effort I Awake to the people, delivering a run of national tour dates that include all states.

The I Awake Tour will also see Blasko team up with an esteemed orchestra from each state she performs in. With a full band backing the songstress, the music is set to come alive unlike it would in any other setting. The dates will kick off in Adelaide with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on Feb 1, before rolling through Tassy, Brissy, Melbourne, Sydney and wrapping up in Perth.

Though the album is not due until Friday, October 26, Blasko has been hard at work crafting an artistic instalment in the heart of Sydney. Providing an environment and atmosphere perfect to preview the new music, the instalment will also feature a short film directed by Mike Daly, documenting the inspiration and influences drawn on for I Awake.
