Set Times And Team Lineups Announced For Melbourne’s Reclink Community Cup

The 26th Reclink Community Cup is creeping up fast. The on-field clash between the Young & Jackson Rockdogs and Triple R 102.7FM & PBS 106.7FM Megahertz will bring the iconic Victoria Park back to life on Sunday, 19th June. The players lacing up for the big game and the set times for the pre, mid, and post-game performances have all been revealed.

After losing by a mere point in the 2019 clash, the Young & Jackson Rockdogs have added some powerful units to their team in a bid to reclaim the championship trophy. Felix Riebl of The Cat Empire, Liam McGorrie of Ex-Olympian/Dorsal Fins, Gracey Gibson of Blonde Revolver, Henry Jenkins of Karate Boogaloo, and solo stars Zoë Fox, Scott Darlow and Bec Goring will all be playing under the guidance of coach Kylie Auldist and team captains, Fresh Violet and Jimmy Phoenix.

In opposition, the Triple R 102.7FM & PBS 106.7FM Megahertz will be fighting to retain their championship status for another year. Led by co-captains Chris Gill and MzRizk, the Megahertz ensemble features RRR Breakfasters’ Monique Sebire and Nat Harris, PBS The Breakfast Spread’s Milo Eastwood, RRR Respect The Rock’s Nicole Tadpole, PBS Underground Love’s Jordan Oakley, RRR The Distant Sky’s Kate Kingsmill, PBS Homebrew’s Maddy Mac and plenty more.

The Community Cup lineup for 2022 includes Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Private Function, Ausecuma Beats, Parnsip and Izy conquering the main stage. This year’s event theme is Let Love Rule, honouring distinguished Gunditjmara/Bundjalung singer-songwriter Archie Roach AM and his extraordinary and enduring musical and charitable contributions.

The Cup is Reclink’s largest annual fundraiser, raising millions of dollars for the disadvantaged since its inception back in 1993. Attracting more than 10,000 patrons, the Reclink Community Cup is a gangbuster day of friendly competition, capped off with hot food, cold drinks, kids’ activities and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

Tickets are on sale now through Oztix. It’s $25+ BF for adults; $5+BF for 3–16-year-olds; and free for under 3s. Find the complete lineup and set times below.
