Sia To Tour Australia In 2017 With Charli XCX, MØ & Amy Shark

UPDATE: It’s official. Sia has announced her first Australian tour dates in six years and will be bringing Charli XCX, MØ and Australia’s own Amy Shark along for the ride.

Original Story: Sources have confirmed to Music Feeds that homegrown pop phenom Sia will tour Australia later this year, supported by English singer Charli XCX, Danish artist and Aussie muso Amy Shark.

Dates for the tour will be announced this Sunday, 28th May, as per the sneaky teaser video Sia released earlier today.

The teaser came with the caption, “Australia + New Zealand – 28 May,” and included a link to the website nostalgicforthepresent.com.au, which is the name of Sia’s current tour.

The ‘Nostalgic For The Present’ tour, which made its way through the US late last year, has seen Sia’s longtime dancer Maddie Ziegler (and a number of other dancers) tour with her, executing Ryan Heffington’s choreography while Sia sings at the back of the stage.

Sia hasn’t toured Australia since 2011, and since then she’s released two albums — 2014’s 1000 Forms of Fear and 2016’s This Is Acting.

Watch her ‘Nostalgic For The Present’ Australian and New Zealand teaser video below, and stay tuned to Music Feeds for all the tour dates as soon as they’re announced.
