Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Has Been Cast In An Upcoming Episode Of ‘Doctor Who’

In news that’s bound to get a mixed reaction from Doctor Who fans across the globe, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has just been cast as the 14th Doctor in the iconic BBC series.

Just kidding, Whovians.

But the maggot ringleader has been tapped to feature in an upcoming episode of the series.

According to The Mirror, Taylor will voice one of the Time Lord’s newest nemeses, lending his trademark growl to alien warchief, The Fisher King, who is described as “a green hulk of a creature with horns protruding from his body”.

“I push my fingers into my eyes… It’s the only thing that slowly reverses the polarity of the neutron flow.”

Taylor, who is apparently a massive Whovian himself, was contacted by the show’s production staff after they learned of his love for the series.

According to The Mirror’s source, BBC staff then gave him a VIP tour “and asked if Corey wanted to record his famous scream. He agreed instantly and was made up about it.”

The Slipknot frontman will be striking fear into the hearts of families and forty-year-old fanboys and girls in lounge rooms and parents’ basements when his Fisher King episode airs next Saturday night, October 3rd.
