Some new comments by Dave Le’aupepe’s will have Gang Of Youths fans breathing the ~deepest sighs~.
Speaking with the Communion Presents show on Radio X, the frontman has just revealed that the band’s next album “probably won’t come out this year”.
But while we may have to wait til 2020 for the majestic follow-up to 2017’s earth-conquering Go Farther In Lightness to hit our eardrums, the good news is that GOY’s next LP is 100% in the pipeline.
“I got a name [for it]. I even got some song titles,” Le’aupepe told the radio show. “And I got at least scaffolds for a bunch of songs.
“I’ve been able to shape something out of it, but I haven’t really settled on a sound or anything. It might just take time. It probably won’t come out this year, but it’s gonna be ready by this year. It’s gonna be ready by the end of the year, probably.”
