The Soundwave 2012 line-up is set to be announced this week on either Thursday or Friday according to festival organiser AJ Maddah. Last night Maddah tweeted about the line-up announcement saying:

iamnotshouting: So I figure we tell the bands tomorrow, get press release and art together and announce Thurs/Fri
That was followed with:
iamnotshouting: 1 major announcement with 60 bands and then a supplementary announcement of 10 to 15 bands in December.
If there’s one thing we’ve come to learn about the Soundwave camp it is that line-ups leak easily, so we could see the first announcement anytime this week.
With the Big Day Out 2012 line-up being announced last week to mixed reactions, Maddah will be keen to make an impact while punters are still deciding on their new year festival plans.
