Soundwave 2014 Lineup Announcement “A Few Days Away”

UPDATE: The official Soundwave 2014 lineup has finally dropped – all the details here!!!

Twitter-happy Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah has told an anxious fan that the Soundwave 2014 lineup announcement is “only a few days away now,” in response to a recent tweet.

A little less than two weeks ago Maddah revealed that the first line-up announcement was set for late August, so it looks he’s holding true to his word.

If this is true, then we’re likely to receive the lineup Thursday or Friday next week, with Maddah previously stating that he prefers to make his announcements later in the week.

UPDATE: The first band confirmed for the Soundwave 2014 lineup has been revealed!

Bands rumoured to be on the bill include Nine Inch Nails, Asking Alexandria, Iron Maiden, Bowling For Soup and Trivium, but it looks like we won’t have to wait for longer to finally see a more extensive list. Given that there’s around 60 bands set for the festival, extensive is probably the right word.
