Soundwave Revolution Won’t Go Ahead In 2012

Soundwave boss AJ Maddah has confirmed that the failed Soundwave Revolution Festival will not be returning in 2012. In 2011 the festival was cancelled after it was rumoured that headliners Van Halen had pulled out.

Maddah confirmed the news via Twitter:

@Smithy232323: @iamnotshouting hey Aj soundwave was unbelievable. R u looking at trying to get soundwave revolution up this year?

@iamnotshouting: @Smithy232323 no, but there’ll be lots of great tours this year.

After the cancellation of the Soundwave Revolution Festival in 2011, fans feared it could be the end for Soundwave all together. However, Maddah pulled together the biggest line-up in Soundwave history for 2012 and sold out the 3 Major cities. It had already been confirmed that the Harvest Festival will be back in 2012, so it will be interesting to see what else AJ has in store for us.
