Speed Announce 2024 ‘Only One Mode’ Australian Tour

Speed have announced a theatre tour of the country, set for August 2024, in support of their forthcoming debut studio album Only One Mode. The tour is set to include three international bands on the bill: UK punk band High Vis, New York hardcore band Pain Of Truth and Singapore’s self-described “Lion City hardcore” band Fuse. Local openers will also join the bill in each city. A full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be accessed below.

The Only One Mode tour will mark Speed’s biggest headlining shows to date – including headlining at venues they performed at just last year as the support act, on their national tour with Turnstile. Its announcement comes following their appearance at this year’s Knotfest, and while they are currently on a North American tour supporting Knocked Loose for their You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To tour alongside Loathe and Show Me The Body.

Speed – ‘The First Test’

Speed announced the imminent release of Only One Mode last month, sharing its lead single ‘Real Life Love’. The album is set for release on Friday July 12th via Last Ride and Flatspot Records. Each of the support acts on the Only One Mode album tour will be touring Australia for the very first time. High Vis released their second studio album Blending in 2022, while Pain of Truth released their debut album Not Through Blood in September of last year.
