Stella Donnelly Announces Sophomore Album ‘Flood’

Stella Donnelly is back with details of her long awaited second album!

The WA artist has been keeping well busy ever since her 2019 debut Beware Of The Dogs was released; yet this album, titled Flood, is expected to show us Stella in a new light.

Written in many cities, the album came together during time spent in places right throughout the country including Bellingen, Fremantle, Melbourne, Williams, Margaret River and more.

Stella linked up with a whole cast of creatives for Flood including instrumentalists Jennifer Aslett, George Foster, Jack Gaby and Marcel Tussie; while Anna Laverty and Jake Webb (Methyl Ethel) brought their production chops to the studio.

From Flood, Stella has shared a new single and video – ‘Lungs’. Watch the music video below.

“I do love observing human dynamics,” Stella has said of her new track.

“Dynamics between old best friends, or dynamics between housemates, or a relationship where the two people are broken up and haven’t spoken in years. I like getting into the mind of someone who we’ve all been at some point.”

Touted as a ‘record of rediscovery’, Stella Donnelly’s Flood is set to be released on August 26.
