The Stereosonic 2014 lineup is set to drop at 8pm AEST tonight, 29th July, and is sure to prove once again just why the festival is one of Australia’s most loved when it comes to dance music.
Stereosonic 2014’s lineup announcement date was announced earlier this month, after festival organisers confirmed in February that Stereosonic’s 2014 dates will mean two events will run simultaneously across two or three cities at a time this year, except for on Friday, 5th December, which will only take place in Adelaide.
Stereosonic 2013 delivered a massive roster of dance superstars for festivalgoers, including Armin van Buuren, Axwell, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, as well as locals such as Tigerlily, Timmy Trumpet, LDRU, and Yahtzel, and veterans like Ferry Corsten and DJ Falcon.
Stereosonic festival organisers have faced some music festival hostility from Perth’s Claremont Council in the past, which may have impacted on where the festival’s Perth leg will take place. Adelaide City Council also brought in new noise restriction initiatives this year, which may affect Stereosonic’s Adelaide location.
