Stream Tom Hanks’ Hour-Long, 65th Birthday Celebration DJ Set

Tom Hanks and his affinity for good tunes is no secret. Now, he’s celebrated his 65th birthday in style, heading into an independent, online radio station on Friday to sling some beats.

He took along an hour-long, rock and roll DJ set to play on Boss Radio 66 and what a time. It’s filled with classic rock and roll from the ’50s and ’60s eras.

The streamed DJ set is filled with high energy, upbeat tunes to get you dancing. It’s a lot of fun too. The set begins with a parodied version of The Beatles’ ”Hard Days Night’.

“You’re gonna dig Tom Hanks, twist and shout, and go go go,” sings the Beatles-themed theme song. “And we’ll all give thanks that you tuned into the show.”

“Thanks Michael, I think I get the idea. I get,” says Tom Hanks, cutting the song off.

“It’s me in my 66th year. I turned 65 which means I’m in my 66th year and where better to spend it than here at Boss Radio,” he says.

While this is Tom Hank’s radio debut, he’ll be back for another set, according to Boss Radio 66.

“DJ Tom Hanks stops by Boss Radio 66 for his radio debut!” reads the show’s description. “Stay tuned for episode #2!”
