Sugar Mountain Festival Unveils First Act On 2018 Lineup

UPDATE: Sugar Mountain Festival Announces Full 2018 Lineup

ORIGINAL STORY: We’ve been given our first spoonful of Sugar Mountain‘s 2018 lineup, with the festival announcing that the first artist to grace next year’s bill is none other than…

English hip-hopper J Hus.

Yep. As we suspected from the festival’s cheeky lineup teaser, the 21-year-old grimelord will be heading to Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts when the event returns on 20th January.

No word yet as to whether J Hus will be expanding his Aussie visit for Sugar Mountain into a whole tour, but we’ll keep you posted.

ICYMI: This year’s Sugar Mountain lineup featured some absolutely HUGE international names, including German producer Pantha Du Prince, British rapper Little Simz and Canadian electronic crossover Jessy Lanza (Blood Orange was announced to headline but sadly had to cancel), plus locals like The Avalanches, Big Scary, KUČKA and Methyl Ethel.

The full lineup for Sugar Mountain 2018 is due to drop next Wednesday, 11th October. Stay tuned to Music Feeds for the full announcement.
