Swedish House Mafia Announce Third (And Probably Final) Melbourne Show

Thought your chances of seeing Swedish House Mafia in Australia on their One Last Time tour were all but dashed? Think again.

Due to unprecedented demand, the band have added a third (and surely final) show in Melbourne at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Wednesday, January 30.

The announcement was posted on the Stereosonic Facebook page earlier this afternoon – with tickets set to go on sale this Thursday, December 6 at midday.

As a result, the status received a barrage of comments and ‘likes’ in mere minutes, with many stoked at the news. However, the majority of comments came from punters wanting shows in other parts of the country – seemingly annoyed that Melbourne now has three shows.

Initially, Swedish House Mafia were only set to play one show in Sydney at Skoda Stadium on Saturday, February 2. The show sold out within 10 minutes.

A Melbourne show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl was announced for Friday, February 1 – and sold out at the speed of light when tickets went on sale on Thursday. A second Melbourne show on Thursday, January 30 was quickly added – and also sold out within an hour.

The band have also announced that a limited number of tickets to the Sydney show will be re-released on Thursday at the same time. These tickets are ones which were swapped by fans wanting to go to Melbourne shows instead.
