Sydney’s DMA’s Sign To I OH YOU; Announce Debut EP

They’re yet to release a track or even play a show but Sydney’s DMA’s are the latest signing to I OH YOU, with the Newtown trio joining the indie label’s roster off the strength of some demos recorded in guitarist Johnny Took‘s bedroom.

The outfit is made up of Took, who also plays with Sydney 7-piece punk-string band Little Bastard, alongside Tommy O and Matt Mason. First taster Delete is a stripped back, haunting tune that’s sure to get under your skin, accompanied by a black and white video directed by Mitchell Grant.

I OH YOU’s Johann Ponniah says that rather than talking the band up, they’d rather let their tunes speak for themselves. “I’m just going to tell you that I really love the songs they write and I’m going give you a peek at what they’ve been working on.”

DMA’s will release their self-titled debut EP on Friday, 28th March.
