Sydney’s beloved venue/waterhole Oxford Art Factory has announced it will be pulling out all the stops for its 10th birthday celebrations next year. In the name of freedom, OAF will be playing host to a series of free events showcasing the type of fine talent you’d normally have to pay for.
Punters can expect four seperate events to go down, with the first one, Freedom 1.0, being announced this week. Organisers simply didn’t hold back for the first shindig, tagging taste-makers Volumes to curate a night of Sydney’s best music, art, culture and life. Freedom 1.0 will see performances, appearences and hosting duties handled by The Gooch Palms, Middle Kids, White Blanks and Body Type, just to name a few.
For the past two years, Volumes have created a live experience unlike any other. The ultimate union of sound and vision, their events have become synoymous with deep, immersive events leaving those in attendence pretty bummed to return to reality.
