Sydney blues rockers The Black Cardinals have returned with another dose of swampy rock goodness in the form of new single ‘Broken Man’.
The sleazy, slide-guitar-laced belter is packing big riffs and the kind of chorus that’ll make you want to swill whiskey next to your nearest bayou.
But beneath all of its dirty swagger is a relatable message about the struggles of balancing life, relationships and family.
“It’s about the dissolution of a relationship, and the personal battles of a self destructive person,” explains lead singer Craig Cassar.
Take ‘Broken Man’ for a spin below, and you catch The Black Cardinals launching it live at Sydney rock den Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice on February 24th, ahead of their appearance at Uncaged festival this March and April.
