Well, now we know why Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker was spotted in the studio with Travis Scott.
The rapper has just unleashed his new album Astroworld upon the planet, after showing off giant golden replicas of his head (both IRL at locations around the US and on his album artwork), and it is jam-packed with absolutely blockbuster collabs — including one with our boi Kev.
According to the album credits, KP produced and co-wrote a song called ‘Skeletons’, which you can check out below.
It’s packing some of his trademark psych-inspired musical trappings, including retro synth sounds and bucketloads of reverb, together with some more modern tropes like heavy autotune.
“Very proud to be on this one,” Parker posted on Instagram, alongside a pic of the album artwork.
And he’s not the only big name on the track; ‘Skeletons’ also features The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams and Dungen’s Reine Fiske.
Other stars to feat. on Mr. Kylie Jenner’s new LP include Frank Ocean, Drake, James Blake, John Mayer, Thundercat, Quavo, Stevie fucking Wonder and loads more.
