Tash Sultana, Rudimental, Groove Armada to Play the Australian Open Finals Festival 2024

The 2024 Australian Open runs from Monday, 14th to Sunday, 28th January at Melbourne Park, just outside the Melbourne CBD. The precinct encompasses Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena and John Cain Arena. The latter venue will host this year’s Australian Open Finals Festival, welcoming several big acts over the tournament’s final weekend.

Finals Festival kicks off on Thursday, 25th January with performances from US/South Korean pop experimentalist Yaeji and local favourites Tash Sultana and Peach PRC. The Jungle Giants, Ruel and DMA’S are headlining on Saturday, 27th January, in the lead up to the women’s final.

The men’s final, on Sunday, 28th, will be preceded by a DJ set from Groove Armada, a live performance from Rudimental, and more.

Yaeji – ‘easy breezy’

Thursday, 25th January is Pride Day at the Australian Open. In addition to Yaeji, Peach PRC and Tash Sultana, the Pride Day music lineup includes Wiradjuri and Bundjalung woman Djanaba, Australia-based, Zimbabwean trans hip hop artist Anesu and non-binary party-starter, DJ Luv You.

The Finals Festival lineup on Saturday, 27th January will include performances from Tia Gostelow and Mell Hall, as well as the aforementioned acts. Supporting Rudimental and Groove Armada in the build-up to the men’s final are the DJ and live choir dancefloor phenomenon Sunshine and Disco Faith Choir, triple j DJ Latifa Tee and teenage DJ Cooper Smith.
