Musical power couple, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks will be sidetracking from their Bluesfest duties next year to headline two very special shows, one in Melbourne and another in Sydney.
Bringing with them an 11-strong band, the Tedeschi Trucks Band will be piling onto only two stages while in town for Bluesfest, but those two shows are set to blow the roof off the respective venues. Both highly respected and accomplished musicians in their own right, Susan and Derek are sure to deliver a vivd performance, seemingly soaked in talent and style.
Joining the small crowd on the night will be New Orleans native Troy ‘Trombone Shorty’ Andrews and Orleans Avenue (TS&OA) bringing an old school flavour you just can’t make up.
A night full of powerful soul, smooth, smooth jazz and hard-rock power chords. Why wouldn’t you?
