Proving time and again what Australian bands are truly made of, one of the country’s mightiest bands and the definition of Aus-rock royalty, The Angels have announced that they are returning with a brand new album, Talk The Talk, their second studio release with Dave Gleeson at the helm.
Talk The Talk is due for release on Friday, 17th January 2014, coming two years after their high-charting, critically-acclaimed album Take It To The Streets was released. The album was their first with Gleeson, who was formerly a part of the equally legendary Screaming Jets.
Now The Angels are set to gain a whole new generation of fans with the release of Talk The Talk. “Talk The Talk is a great album,” says Gleeson. “I feel like I can say that because in some ways, I still get to have an outsider’s perspective…but from the inside.”
To celebrate the release of the album, the band will be taking the new material on the road, kicking off with a special, two-night album preview at The Bridge in Sydney on Friday, 10th January and Saturday, 11th January, before the boys join The Red Hot Summer Tour.
