The Black Keys Add Brisbane Show, Supports To Australian Tour

Brisbane fans can breathe a sigh of relief as acclaimed US blues rockers The Black Keys have added a show in the Queensland capital to their upcoming Turn Blue 2015 Australian tour, and special guests Band of Skulls and Bad//Dreems will be joining them.

The tour will now kick off in Brisbane at the Riverstage on Thursday 2nd April 2015 with both Band of Skulls and Bad//Dreems supporting before the Keys head off to headline the Byron Bay Bluesfest and the brand new Rolling Green events at wineries in Victoria’s Yarra Valley and the Hunter Valley in NSW.

The rest of the tour will see guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney play headlining shows in venues across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide.

UK trio Band of Skulls will join The Black Keys at their already announced headline shows in Perth and Adelaide in addition to Brisbane and Bluesfest, while Australia’s own Bad//Dreems will open for The Black Keys at their Sydney and Melbourne shows. Both will also play the Rolling Green events.

The 2015 The Black Keys tour, their eighth in Australia, comes in celebration of the band’s eighth full-length album, Turn Blue, the follow-up to 2011′s platinum-selling El Camino. Once agin it featured production from studio maestro Danger Mouse.
