The Datsuns Gear Up For ‘Death Rattle Boogie’ Australian Launch Tour

One of New Zealand’s most successful rock ‘n’ roll exports The Datsuns plan on going big in celebration of the 10th anniversary since their debut. The band will be hitting the road to ring in the double digits, which coincides nicely with the release of their latest album.

2002 was a seminal year for the band, who at that stage had just released their self-titled debut record. The release was met with roaring approval both at home and as far away as the other side of the world, with UK media coining the group ‘the future of rock’. Over the years since then, the band has performed at some of the world’s biggest music festivals, as well as releasing three studio albums.

Make that four. Death Rattle Boogie marks the band’s all-up fifth studio release and has an official drop date of 12 October, 2012 – 10 years to the day since the 2002 self-titled’s release. Death Rattle Boogie will be supported by Hellsquad / MGM Distribution and will be held high with pride by the band as they prepare to load up the van to tour off the new album.
