The Grogans Announce 2024 Headline Tour Behind New Album ‘Find Me A Cloud’

Melbourne/Naarm garage-pop and roots rock outfit The Grogans are taking their latest album Find Me A Cloud on tour across Australia in March 2024. The band will play a series of 18+ and all ages shows in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

The tour concludes with two shows in Melbourne. The first, on Saturday, 13th April, is an over-18s gig at Northcote Theatre, while the second, on Sunday, 21st April, is an under-18s gig at Thornbury Theatre.

The Grogans – ‘I Cannot Read Your Mind’

“Playing underage shows is something we find super important to us,” The Grogans said in a press statement. “Everyone deserves to feel and experience live music and we want to make it more accessible. We have all loved music since we were little so we feel it makes sense to provide opportunities to different age groups.”

The Grogans’ fourth studio album, Find Me A Cloud, came out in late October. The band told Music Feeds it’s their “favourite album to date”. “It feels a little truer to ourselves and nostalgic than previous albums,” they said. “We wanted to draw inspiration from the past whilst never trying to recreate it.”

It follows last year’s Which Way Is Out LP, and is again released via local indie label Cousin Will Records. Band members Quin Grunden, Jordan Lewis and Angus Vasic worked on the album with engineer Jasper Jolley at Big Fridge Recordings on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.
