Earlier this month, it was revealed that a second season of ABC’s live music television series The Sound would be hitting our screens on Sunday, 1st November.
Now, the show have shared the enormous lineup for their first episode back, including heavyweights such as Kylie bloody Minogue, Midnight Oil and much, much more.
Kicking off at 6pm this Sunday on ABC and iview, Minogue will share an exclusive look at her upcoming ‘Infinite Disco’ livestream event. The Oils, meanwhile, will perform new songs ‘First Nation’ and ‘Terror Australia’ from their forthcoming Makarrata Project mini-album. They’ll be joined by Jessica Mauboy, Tasman Keith and Alice Skye.
The chockers bill also includes The Rubens, Ruel, Vera Blue and Mia Wray. Plus, Thirsty Merc, You Am I‘s Davey Lane, Alex Lahey and Gretta Ray will team up to pay tribute to The Masters Apprentices
This weekend’s episode will be hosted by Jane Gazzo and Bridget Hustwaite, who’ll be joined by special guest Stan Grant.
