Australia’s First Multi-Day, Outdoor Music Festival Dedicated To Tribute Acts Is Coming In 2022

Australia’s first multi-day, outdoor music festival dedicated solely to tribute acts and cover bands has been announced for next year’s Easter long weekend.

This Is Just a Tribute will take place on the shores of Lake Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains on Saturday, 16th and Sunday, 17th of April 2022, and is set to feature a diverse range of tribute acts. Headlining festivities are the Australian Rock Collective – You Am I‘s Davey Lane, Spiderbait‘s Kram, Jet‘s Mark Wilson and Powderfinger‘s Darren Middleton – who will be performing songs from across The Beatles‘ discography.

“ARC are excited to present an all-encompassing magical mystery tour of the Beatles finest works, performed at an altitude higher than the Fab Four’s collective consciousness at the peak of psychedelia,” commented Davey Lane in an accompanying statement.

Other acts on the lineup for This Is Just a tribute include Killer Queen, FABBA and Noasis – you can probably take a guess who each will be performing the songs of.

Elsewhere on the bill are a slew of tribute acts who’ll be bringing the works of U2, INXS, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Crowded House and Pearl Jam to Lake Jindabye in April. See the full lineup below, and head here for more information and to purchase tickets.
