After spending the past 18 months touring the globe off their 2023 album Godlike, Thy Art Is Murder are returning to bring the brutality across Australia this June and July, announcing a monster 16-date regional tour.
The run will kick off in Queensland with six dates snaking down from the far north coast, before hitting Newcastle, Gosford, Penrith, Canberra (ACT) and Albury in NSW. The extreme metal titans will then make the journey south to play three dates across Victoria, before wrapping up the tour in Hobart.
Thy Art Is Murder – ‘Through Blood I Purify’
They’ll be joined on all dates by Melbourne’s melodic blackened deathcore group Mélancolia, with additional support from East Coast metal supergroup Hate Complex and a mysterious “secret support” on selected dates.
Thy Art are now fronted by Aversion’s Crown screamer Tyler Miller, who joined the band full-time in 2024 following the departure of their controversial former frontman, CJ McMahon.
Their Brutality Across Australia tour will also mark Thy Art’s last headline shows in Australia for 2025. After this, the band will head back to Europe to support Parkway Drive on their mammoth 20th Anniversary tour across the continent.
