Tom Delonge has taken to Instagram to share news that a new Angels & Airwaves album is well and truly underway. In a video he shares a cheeky snippet of an amazingly synth-laced beat.
He posted the video to Instagram, writing, “This new [Angels & Airwaves] album is epic..”
The video follows up a couple of other teaser posts.
Angels & Airwaves initially teased a comeback in 2019 before dropping ‘Rebel Girl’.
Their last release was in April last year. Delonge and co released ‘All That’s Left Is Love’, which raised funds for US charity Feeding America in the wake of COVID.
At the time the band said, ““We look forward to coming out with this new album when the time is right (as it is almost done) and after things get back to normal our touring will start up once again across the world to help spread the message that this band has stood for 13 years… hope.”
In potentially-related news, Tom Delonge asked Seth Rogen to feature in a music video with him over night.
Rogen tweeted, “The older I get, the more I find myself randomly thinking about what uniquely powerful and spectacular talent Chris Farley had.”

“You are just as talented, my brother,” replied Delonge.
“Make a music video with me about aliens. Fans, go ask [Seth Rogen] if he’d like to spend a day and make a ridiculous UFO music video with me…
“It can have naked men, lights in the sky, a shit load of pot, and also naked men. Serious.”
